Eligibility Criteria for all the Awards

1.Applicant/Nominee should be a citizen of India and his/her conduct must be good.
2.The applicant should be a working library professional who holds at least Bachelors degree in library science or its equivalent.
3.Interested professionals should apply in the prescribed application form only
4.Nomination can be self or by a responsible library professional.
5.Those who received an award from SALIS for a particular category are not eligible to apply for the same award again. However, they can apply to any other category after a gap of a minimum of three years.
6.Applications without full details and support documents will be rejected. Enclose separate sheets wherever necessary to give full details
7.The application form can be downloaded from SALIS website www.salis.in or can be obtained by e-mail to salislib.info@gmail.com
8.Filled application [indicating the year of the Award] should reach the office within 3 weeks after the announcement of Award
9.The decision of the committee constituted by SALIS to select the candidate for the award is final.
10.The Award committee may consider his/her application for any other suitable award if more quailified appications/nominations received.
11.Award Committee has the right to post-pone or cancel the award for any unavoidable reason.
